Dare a Poppy jewel.

Show your character and your independence with Edith and Severine, the “Poppies of Paris”

This flower is always out there in the wind. She grows where she likes, when she likes, she does it her way. Nobody made her come, nobody asked if she’s allowed to be there. She is there, she’s beautiful, and she gives us joy.

Myths & Realities

She used to live in the fields, now she came to town. She invaded all the messier corners of Paris. And, why not. Like a girl from Paris, the poppy is always blowing in the wind, always irresistible, no matter where you meet her. Like the ship on the Coat of Arms of the City of Paris, the poppy is always flying with the wind but never surrenders. Poppy flowers are ephemeral yet they blossom again every day. Poppy jewels “Poppies of Paris” by Quintessenz B accurately reproduces this special look as sophisticated jewels, made of hammered copper and fire enamel to make them durable. They have been modeled from real poppies picked in Paris: Edith, picked at Parc de la Butte du Chapeau rouge (19ème) on sept. 16, 2016; Séverine, picked at 8 rue le Vau (20ème, facing the Square Séverine) on may 23, 2019.

The choice of a Wild Rose

There is this wild character, slim yet strong with its thorns. Be sure of your strength, know how to show your beauty and your spirit. A flower that shows your elegance and your sensitivity, that elegance that is also from the heart.

The name of the rose

Leaving the Musée de l’Air et de l’Espace in Le Bourget north of Paris, our eyes were attracted by a rose. It would become a jewel and we named it Consuelo after the wife and muse of famous french writer and aviation pioneer Antoine de Saint-Exupery. All our roses are named after after famous women, women who loved flowers and natures, as you do.
